BUP promotes knowledge creation and dissemination through journals, books, research reports, and other knowledge products. It regularly publishes the Asia Pacific Journal on Environment and Development (APJED) in English and Unnayan Bitarka in Bengali, providing platforms for research, analysis, and informed debate on environment and development. BUP also publishes Proddot, a monthly Bengali newsletter featuring contemporary events and development issues. In addition, BUP has published numerous books based on its research and policy initiatives, particularly on climate change, water resources, sustainable development, and socio-economic issues.
